Today, October 29, 2022 is my 27th anniversary of being ordained as a Minister of Word & Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) (@pcusa). AKA #Ordiversary for us in the church nerd world :-) There is no way that I would have survived or thrived on this road without my family, some courageous congregants, and so many colleagues and friends who have been present along the way. The ebbs and flows of pastoral ministry — the profession and the calling — are filled with sacred moments of the soul and tribulations and traumas for the spirit. It's a swirling and complex life of love and I am grateful for it.
