Many students take their time choosing their major, but Camille Johnson ’21 knew that she wanted to major in anthropology before she even arrived at Trinity. “I remember I wrote about discovering my love of anthropology in my college essay,” Camille recalls. “From a young age, I was obsessed with ancient Egypt and watched all sorts of documentaries, so I knew coming in that’s what I wanted to do.” After working as a student researcher for Trinity’s Roots Commission, conducting archaeological fieldwork in Belize, and taking African American studies and history classes, Camile ended up majoring in anthropology and triple minoring in African American studies, history, and museum studies.
