Congratulations, Bronwen! Bronwen Holmes, our beloved senior coxswain, has taken the reins of many boats during her time on the Jackson Reed Crew team. Starting off her coxswain career in the 8th grade learn to row program Bronwen moved onto cox the freshman eight, leading to a 🥉 at WMIRA. As a sophomore, Bronwen jumped over to the varsity boys squad helping lead the Varsity 8 to 🥇 at both Stotesbury and SRAAs, then continuing to compete at the Henley Royal Regatta in England! After returning to the varsity girls squad in her junior year, B Holmes continued her medaling ways, placing 🥉 in the Girls Varsity 8 at Stotesbury in 2023. If you haven’t heard by now, Bronny is committed to cox at Texas (HOOK EM’!), where she will study kinesiology. We know our country queen will thrive with the sheer amount of Boot Barns and Texas Roadhouses that Austin will provide.
