Class of 2024 graduate Jack McCaskill plans to attend the University of Las Vegas this fall and major in entertainment engineering. For McCaskill, amusement parks have always interested him and sparked his interest in engineering. “I’ve really liked theme parks and rollercoasters and all that stuff,” McCaskill said. “I find the concept of creating attractions and things that make people smile to be a very nice thing.” One of the reasons McCaskill chose the University of Las Vegas is the location. “[UNLV has a] good location for what I’m trying to get into and a good degree that’s set to get me on that path that I want to make and design roller coasters,” McCaskill said.
