The importance of driving your knee as opposed to extending/kicking/reaching: Now, I want to preface this with the fact that this is not a bad goal against. In fact, it is just as important to review the good goals against as it is the poor goals against. You can tell Stuart Skinner gets a good read that this is a strong side net drive. By kicking his foot out and extending his glove, his bodyweight stays back on his right leg, which creates some opening. Had he driven his left knee, this puck most likely hits him in the square of his body. In Situations like these, train yourself to get your bodyweight to follow your eyes. It will allow you to play bigger. #goalies #gameofinches #nhl #visionandbalance
