We recently spent some time gathering artifacts and filming with 2014 inductee, Ronnie Choate. Choate was the first golf coach of the SHSU bearkatgolf team after starting the program in 1961. He would later lead his team to four consecutive NAIA National Championships from 1978 to 1981. It was a wonderful day of sharing stories and golf history.
