We are excited to announce our new head coach, Dean Wilson! #GoAztecs — San Diego native Dean Wilson has played professional hockey on ice and in the roller rink. Wilson, after playing Division II with Bemidji State University, skated for the San Diego Gulls, Bakersfield Fog, Bakersfield Condors, Fresno Falcons, and Tucson Gila Monsters of the now former West Coast Hockey League. As part of Roller Hockey International, he skated with the San Diego Barracudas, Tampa Bay Rolling Thunder, and Sacramento River Rats and won gold with Team USA at an IIHF roller hockey championship. Wilson has over 20 years of coaching experience at the junior, high school, and college level and hopes to lead the Aztecs to new heights in the 2024-25 season.
