We will hit 1,000,000 COVID deaths next year and most of that grief and loss lies at the feet of the selfish and arrogant nature of our culture of American exceptionalism, rugged individuality, and the idea that our personal convenience is more important than someone else's life.⠀ ⠀ Note that, while I would love to separate myself from those who buy into these warped ideas of exceptionalism, individuality, and liberty, I cannot.
