Your next destination is in sight and you have to pee real bad, but the horrors of squatting in a filthy public bathroom is enough to make you projectile a neon aperol spritz all over the sidewalk. We’ve all been there…but this summer “Ur In Luck.”
NYC just launched a Google map of 1,000 public restrooms across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx, so you can relieve yourself without having to spend money to use a customers-only bathroom. The “Ur In Luck” initiative comes after years of tourists and locals complaining of how few clean and accessible bathrooms there are throughout the city. Over the next five years, the initiative will open 46 new restrooms and renovate 36 existing ones.
