“They buried our dream.” Today the Taliban announced the immediate closure of universities for women in Afghanistan, according to a letter by the higher education minister. Since taking over the country, the Taliban has banned girls from secondary education, restricted women from most employment and ordered them to wear head-to-toe clothing in public.
