Women in multiple cities in Afghanistan took to the streets on Sunday to condemn the suicide bombing that targeted an educational institute in the capital Kabul on September 30.
According to UNAMA, at least 35 girls and young women from the Hazara ethnic minority were killed, and another 82 were wounded in the attack on Friday.
Women chanted “Education is our right” in Herat as they marched from Herat University to the office of the provincial governor, according to Afghan Peace Watch.
