Digging through my hard drive to edit some old photos from #CapeTown! My time in the #MotherCity was profound not just for the people I met and the memories I made, but because it allowed me the time to put a camera in my hands and figure it the f*ck out! It developed my love for #landscapephotography, and my understanding of how to operate a camera (shooting both video and photo). More importantly, the learning process brought me joy and solidified my decision to ditch the medical school path and pursue something that made me happy. At that point I was just a #n00b (kinda still am, it's only been 4 years), but everyone has to start somewhere. Use periods of transition to your advantage - take a few slow, long, deep breaths - calm your mind, and figure out a way to leverage uncertainty into something new and exciting for YOU. #throwbackthursday #tbt
