🌲 How can you differentiate all kinds of pines that grow in our region? Our group found out during our visit to the Spokane Interpretive Center to learn about Spokane Tribal History and local wildlife. We discovered that Ponderosa Pines have long needles growing in bundles of three, while white pines grow in bundles of five. Highlights included the impressive size of salmon caught in the Spokane River and the intriguing history of the Fur Trade, especially learning about what could be purchased with beaver skin.
