Congratulations, Tisha! Boy oh boy where do we begin… Tisha. T had an unusual Jackson Reed rowing experience, as his love for the sport would come much later. Though his parents strongly encouraged him to join Crew his freshman year, he didn’t enjoy it and eventually left the team during the season. Fast forward to February of his sophomore year, Tisha luckily decided to give rowing another chance. After rejoining the team, he showed dedication and a strong work ethic, leading to significant improvements over the next 3 years. In his sophomore (restart) year, he grabbed a spot on the 3v and won at St. Andrews. He also rowed in both 3v fours at WMIRA, where his team placed 3rd in both finals, even though he had to hot seat the boat! His senior year is where he truly shined. T became a kind of captain to the greatest Varsity boys 2V boat in the program’s history and led them to a 🥈 finish at WMIRA.
