The weekend of June 7-9 was a true highs and lows experience for horse racing in North America. As Dornoch triumphed on the East Coast in the Belmont Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course, on the West Coast, Adelie crossed the finish line in the last race ever to be held at another historic venue, Golden Gate Fields.
