Today is #DayoftheMushroom, a perfect day to highlight a local treasure, Mepkin Abbey. Located in Moncks Corner, the monks of Mepkin Abbey Monestary produce a bountiful crop of mushrooms - 1,600 pounds a week! Our chefs are delighted to be able to feature this incredible local ingredient on their seasonal menus. . . . . #kiawahresort #kiawahisland #kiawahislandgolfresort #mempkinabbey #mushrooms #fungi #chseats #kiawaheats
