WILD STORY TIME: lasts week Leb and I went out on the pond and revisited a brush pile on a Maine lake that I hadn’t fished in over a year. Upon my first cast with the ole googanbaits Bandito bug I managed to yank this New England 4lbr out from the twigs… much to my surprise this fish had a tag just behind the dorsal. Initially I didn’t realize it but I had tagged this very fish over a year ago after catching it off the same exact brush pile on the same exact lure. This has only ever happened one other time to my knowledge in a creek in Texas. To me, this is proof that CPR in fact 100% works especially when you handle your catch with care. 📸: calebtacia
