Current theories of memory suggest that our brain replays/reactivates information during deep or slow wave sleep. When our brain does this, it helps save or consolidate the information as memories. 🧠 For this to happen, we need sufficient deep sleep. 3 ways to increase time in deep sleep: 1: daily exercise 2: Hot shower/bath - we sleep better when our core body temp is low! Hot water forces our body to release heat, lowering our body temp. 🥶 3: Sleep frequencies - Delta range frequencies and 432 Hz frequency music have been shown to increase time in deep sleep 💤 A review⬇️
