EVOLUTION OF THE PACK: METCALF The beloved METCALF has remained a cornerstone of our hunting lineup, evolving over the years based on user feedback and our commitment to durability, versatility, and functionality. The new Spring 2024 METCALF Series does just that and then some. Some notable updates include: TOP ACCESS: The previous iteration of the METCALF featured a shroud opening beneath its lid, though its weatherproofing was not completely effective. In contrast, the latest METCALF model boasts a roll-top opening, offering enhanced usability even without the lid and significantly bolstering weather resistance as well as increasing the usable volume of the main bag when packing variable loads. SHOULDER PADS: Shoulder pads that once had thick foam and 1-inch webbing are now updated to thinner, more modern foam, providing sleeker and lighter performance.
