🥯 After nearly three years of work, Cleveland Bagel Cafe is ready to open its doors in Lakewood later this month. The former Streat Burger Bistro space is set to become a cafe with an expanded sandwich selection, pastries and coffee. The cafe aims to serve as a model for future expansion. Unlike the other locations, this one won't bake bagels from scratch on-site. Instead, bagels will arrive par-baked and frozen, then baked fresh daily. Menu highlights include an expanded selection of sandwiches like the turkey club and vegan sausage and egg, alongside house-baked pastries such as muffins, cookies, and scones. A coffee program featuring Six Shooter will offer espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes.
