On June 11, houstonmayor was happy to celebrate Asian Restaurant Weeks with Councilmember Thomas in Houston’s International District. We recognized 42 Asian restaurants across Houston for their work and great food! With these recognitions, we hope to spread the word about the city’s great cuisine and diversity even more. AAPI Restaurant Weeks raises awareness of locally owned AAPI food establishments and supports their businesses. This community service project raises funds to provide rice and noodles for low-income seniors. AAPI Restaurant Weeks will end this Saturday, June 15.
