Gracie’s Story 💙✨ "Gracie and her sister (who does not have Cerebellar Hypoplasia) came to me as kittens for fostering at about 5 weeks old. At the time, the shelter was unaware how much Gracie could do for herself. In the beginning I’ll admit, I was completely overwhelmed and almost lost her if it wasn’t for someone stepping in to help. Very early on Gracie showed she was a fighter and wanted to live. Slowly, I learned how to take care of her and learned how to adapt things to be Gracie’s way. See, Gracie is a normal cat - she just does things different. Gracie has severe Cerebellar Hypoplaysia, better known as “wobblers syndrome”. In Gracie’s case, she cannot walk, stand or sit on her own. She “flip flops” to get around. The time was coming close to Gracie being spayed and going up for adoption when I knew the shelter needed to assess her. After their assessment she was deemed unadoptable due to her condition. So she was signed over to me to spare her from being euthanized. The...
