How to portion out shredded chicken into 30-50 gram protein packs! 1) Weigh your raw chicken! All meats lose weight when cooked, BUT the nutritional content does not change! So weighing and tracking your meats raw is way more accurate! 2) Cook your chicken in an instapot! Add 1 cup chicken broth, seasoning of your choices and pressure cook for 15-20 mins. Once chicken is cooked shred with a stand or hand mixer. 3) While your chicken is cooking determine the macros for all the raw chicken. In this example I had a total of 1314 grams of raw chicken. The serving size was 112 grams. Giving me 11.7 servings. I took the macros per serving and multiplied it all by 11.7. So all the chicken I was cooking came to 1404 calories, 23.4g fat, 0g carbs and 292.5g protein. 4) Now I wanted at least 30 grams of protein in each serving. So I took the total protein 292.5 and divided it by 30 which meant I had about 9 servings. So each serving using the original macros came to 156 calories, 2.6g fat, 3...
