Originally grown in the lakes and rivers of Canada and Minnesota, it springs up to six feet tall in about 90 days’ time. That’s twice the height of other rice varieties! We grow wild rice in the Cascade Range and California Delta, where mountain temperatures and the bay breeze replicate the cool climate of Minnesota and Canada.
