Where fields are resting, ducks are nesting! This spring, we left a field of organic oats undisturbed to restore nutrients to the soil AND provide habitat for waterfowl. Last week, before harvesting the oats (which will provide seed for next year’s crop), we partnered with calwaterfowl to search the field for nests. Over the years, more than 30,000 ducklings have been rescued from our fields! It’s all part of our promise to work in partnership with nature so we can keep growing together.
