Each spring, before we start our tractors, we work with calwaterfowl to recover eggs from every field in which ducks have nested—up to thousands of acres per year! We transfer the eggs to a local hatchery to be incubated, hatched, raised, and released into the wild. Over the years, more than 30,000 ducklings have been rescued from our fields!
