It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s PLANTING SEASON! Did you know we use planes to plant rice? Since rice grows in water, we start by leveling and flooding the fields. Before takeoff, we soak the seed in water to weigh it down. Then we give the seed a chance to breathe while it taxis to the airstrip.
