Today we recognize our last two finalists for this year's Class of 1931 Outstanding Senior Award, Tyler Martino and Andrew Watz. Each year, a member of the senior class is selected for this award that was established by the late Doctor Richard Gates as a tribute to his class. Seniors nominate their classmates in consideration of their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, and sense of character. The award recipient is selected by the leadership team and department chairs based on an essay written by each nominee.
