$1 MILLION REWARD ANNOUNCED: Ahead of the 44th anniversary of her death, detectives have today announced a $1M reward for information to help solve the murder of Maria James in her Thornbury bookshop and residence. ⁣ ⁣ Maria was found deceased in her bedroom with a large number of stab wounds on Tuesday 17 June, 1980.⁣ ⁣ Shortly after being discovered, two separate witnesses described a man running away from the crime scene.
