I’m always asked in interviews what would I tell my younger-self if I could jump in a time machine.
I would tell her:
If you are getting defeated continuously, keep trying.
never get disheartened. Effort will help you to be successful and conquer everything ahead.
Today in an NY Times interview I was asked why I wrote my book.
I told them:
There are a lot of books on how people have won The Olympics but I stand here still in the battle. I don’t have an Olympic medal. I’ve been close three times.
I wrote my book for the people that are hopeless. That are still in the fight. That have come so close to their dream but then it was ripped away and have no energy left.
I wrote my book because I’m not on the other side saying “hey this will all work out in the end”
No instead, I’m still in the mud fighting. I have had days where my doubts and fears tell me to give up.
