👉🏽Swipe for my video confession. I had to make a tough call this year. Would I tap into my savings to make one last push for the summer Olympics? Or would I retire from track and move on to a professional job? ⁣ ⁣ My decision: money and sponsors are nice but when I started my first year as a pro athlete I had no contract, no one would sign me. They said I would never make an Olympic team (I’ve made three). They said I would never be the number one ranked hurdler in the world ( i achieved that also) ⁣ ⁣ My career didn’t start because someone gave me a shoe deal and believed in me, so not having a contract wasn’t going to tell me when to finish it or have me lose belief in myself. ⁣ ⁣ The wait was hard but God just came in and took care of my every need and it has been incredible. ⁣ ⁣ Never let money determine your passions and dreams. #hardtimesmakestrongpeople #befaithful #nevergiveup #courageovercomfort
