The only car I had growing up was my legs. I used to hate that my family was too poor to afford a working car. I would have to walk everywhere... to school, the grocery store and practice. I started to run bc it would annoy me that walking took so long. I would run a block and then walk the next. Little did I know thatโs similar to the workouts I would do my freshmen year in college. I was always embarrassed my family didnโt have a car. But wow ๐ณ the places my legs have taken me now. God has a way of using our hardships. God was molding me and I didnโt even know it. I was walking in the snow and rain only to go on to compete in the sun and snow in both Olympics. Use your hardships.
