Yes, that’s right, the same guy who is a former NFL MVP quarterback bagged groceries before his big break. Warner worked a $5.50 per hour job after being cut by a nfl team. That didn’t stop him to go on to achieve greatness. So it was an honor to meet him and also an fun to be back in my hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. I remember trying to get a college track and field scholarship but most of the schools were were all recruiting kids from Texas, California and Florida. So tonight to be able to award the best High School Track and Field Athlete of the state Iowa.
