⚠️WARNING: GRAPHIC⚠️ This is one of fifteen medical injections I’ve had for my achilles injury. I’m sure a pregnant woman delivering twins screamed less than me getting my stem, PRP and anti-inflammatory treatments. I’ve had to wear a big plastic boot on my foot and use crutches, both of which I will blame for the reason my last blind date never called me back after I hobbled in. Not being able to hurdle is frustrating but I am leaping invisible hurdles everyday to comeback. The invisible hurdles of doubt, frustration and anxiety try to block my path. I’ve lost my health. I’ve lost half of my season but I have not lost what counts the most, my determination.
