TME Athlete of the Week, Mather High School (Chicago Illinois) This week we are proud to honor Muhiyadin Ali, a junior at Mather, who has displayed incredible patience and resilience as a rising talent in the state of Illinois. For Coach Joe Sullivan, “Muhiyadin’s work ethic and competitive fire have helped him improve from a PR of 21:45 for 3 Miles as a freshman to 15:14 as a junior. His teammates, training partners, and best friends (Ammar and Leo) have played a major role in his success. The three of them have run every step together in training for the past year. Muh’s improvements are an example of what can happen when you commit to something bigger than yourself and surround yourself with people who support you.” The team was excited to surprise Muhiyadin with some gear and a pair of our adidasrunning TME XCS spikes.
