I will continue to be so proud of this strength sport community. The number of online workouts and home programs and seeing gyms cheer on each other as we and other small businesses fight to keep going with daily (and sometimes hourly) changes.
We will keep lifting here at MASS. Sport is what carries some of us through whatever life brings us. It’s more than the weight on the bar. It’s the discipline and hard work and pain and community. It’s having beers 6 feet apart after a tough metcon. It’s lifting after not sleeping for three days while strategizing for multiple small businesses. It’s watching lifters all over the world encourage each other with challenges and well wishes.
We will all get thru this and come out stronger on the other side as we always do.
#justkeeplifting with @usa_weightlifting and @usapl and all of the other federations. (We’ll do the real challenge later at home.)
“Stronger people are harder to kill than weak people...”
Let’s stay STRONG.
