Progress not perfection. The goal is to be continuously challenged and improving. I battle hardcore against thinking way too much before/during my lifts and I'm working on that but it was pointed out to me that we also need to respect what we're going thru. We all have shit to deal with and sometimes you need to actually let it process. Emotions are ok (oh dang mandi). It will affect your lifts and maybe you have a bad day but you don't get weaker and you always get stronger.
