One of the cool things about my job at school is having free rein when I do athletics photo shoots to be creative and try some different things as part of being the Assistant AD in charge of promotion and Marketing at one of the largest high schools in the state. With nearly 900 athletes in our programs it is a challenge and a great opportunity to do some different things at times as well as normal event coverage. This was the @nolesswimming media day. Shot these portraits lit by 2 #Newer 18 inch LED light sticks on a piece of black velvet. Sprayed each swimmer with a mist of water and off we went. Most of these were taken at f2.8/3.2 These have been used on our social media, graphics and our new website that I also run. I also used this as a teaching moment with one of my students who was also able to do some of these and other portraits on media. #Bokey #swimming #swimmers #highschool #nikon #nikonpro @bokeyboosters @ad_nolenation
