Kansas City voters experienced some wins and some losses Tuesday night. Vote totals show that those in the Kansas City area didn’t always agree with the outcomes decided by Kansas and Missouri. In Kansas, Johnson and Wyandotte Counties were at odds with the state’s vote for attorney general. On the Missouri side, Kansas City voters south of the river disagreed with Missouri’s choices for senator and on the police funding amendment. Surrounding counties, however, did vote for Eric Schmitt for Senate and in support of Amendment 4. Marijuana legalization (Amendment 3) had stronger support in the KC area than in the whole of Missouri.
