AME Sports has picked Overland Park for its first AME Golf & Brew lounge. The Minnesota retailer has operated a sports merchandise, autograph collectibles and memorabilia store in Oak Park Mall, at 95th Street and Quivira Road, for three years. Now it is taking the 3,800-square-foot former Microsoft Store space for an early September opening. The venue will have an indoor patio in front with a couple of TVs. Customers will enter the sports lounge through double barn doors. It will have a full bar, appetizers, multiple TVs tuned to sports, and two full-size golf simulators.
