📚FREE BOOKS FOR KIDS: Our program, BookNooks, has helped to distribute more than 39,000 free books to children in Lowell since 2017 using well-stocked bookshelves located in family-friendly locations across the city. Research has shown that having books at home can improve a child’s reading achievement and long-term academic success, and learning to read at an early age can help foster a lifelong love of learning.
