How many spare parts do you need to drive a vintage van around the world? That’s the question that was going through my mind as we were preparing to leave. You see, where we are going there is 0% chance of finding the parts we will need. And given that this van is pushing 50 years old, we WILL need them! Thanks to our friends justkampers who sent us the fastest package we’ve ever received and hooked us up with all the spares for the next 50,000 miles of maintenance plus some VW extras for k9adventuretime what a bunch of legends! Somehow, calling on our Tetris fueled youth, we’ve managed to stack away 50% of these parts in the belly of the Kombi, so we should be able to tackle most breakdowns.
