#TBT to our 12 hour shortcut to cross the Andes in Bolivia. Turns out it wasn't much of a shortcut. But after a rescue mission involving another #vwkombi a tractor, a busted drive shaft and a blown alternator we ended up being invited in by a tiny community of quinoa farmers and spent the night sitting around a pachamama shrine drinking with our hosts, making offerings to the South American goddess, learning and sharing stories about our cultural differences. Time and time again, #whentheshithitsthefan these are the moments that we treasure the most. When you leave on your next adventure don't pray that nothing will go wrong, but hope when it does, that you'll be ready with your heart and your eyes wide open. #adventurecalls
