When I was doing my research on the best places to stay in the Maldives, I came across Soneva Fushi & was hooked for one major reason. Soneva Fushi is the most eco friendly resort I have ever been to. You couldn’t find single use plastic at this resort if you tried. They recently started a fully sustainable surfing program. Everything from the boards, fins, wax, leashes, sunscreen, etc are all made out of eco friendly, recyclable materials. We spent the day surfing perfect little waves all to ourselves in the warmest water you could imagine. I will definitely come back to this place someday.
