Finally getting a minute to wrap my head around last Friday. Myself & 20 of the worlds best Stand Up Paddle racers were invited to compete in the final event of the season. The RedBull #HeavyWater race in San Francisco, CA. By far one of the scariest races we have ever been a part of. This race is only held when the waves at Ocean Beach reach a minimum height of 10-20ft. We race in & out through the waves multiple times before paddling 6 miles in to the San Francisco Bay & finishing under the iconic Golden Gate bridge. I was lucky enough to manage a 6th place.
