2- INGREDIENT mini fruit pies 🥧- all you’ll need is a box of premade pie crust and a can of fruit filling for this easy summer treat!
(Makes 4-5 mini pies)
-1 box premade pie crust (or homemade!)
-1 can fruit filling (I used cherry)
1. Unroll your pie crust and cut out circles using a large lid or cutter (make sure they are a bit bigger than a wide mouth canning jar lid)
2. Press the cutout dough circles into the canning jar lids, and scoop 1/4 cup fruit filling into each pie crust.
3. Using a small star cookie cutter, cut out the center of each remaining dough circle.
4. Place the cutout circles on top of the pies as “lids”, and crimp the edges with a fork. (Brush with egg wash and sanding sugar if you’re feeling extra fancy)
5. Place into a preheated oven at 375F and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Pop out of the canning lids and serve with a scoop of vanilla icecream if you want!
