Who else thinks this is the best Disney movie yet?! I cry all the way through every time!
Sugar glass recipe-
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
Few drops food coloring
1 tsp vanilla (or flavoring of choice)
Place all the ingredients into a heavy saucepan and bring to a steady boil without stirring. Heat until the syrup reaches 300F- you will need a candy thermometer for this.
Spray a baking tray with oil spray and pour the syrup into the tray. Allow it to harden for 1-2 hours.
Once set, twist the pan to crack the candy glass into shards.
Just be careful not to heat beyond 300F (hard crack stage) or your glass will turn completely black and burn- (voice of experience here! 😆)
