Funny story behind these photos- I’m not quite set up in my new studio yet, and my gear is just all over the place. I popped the cake in front of one of my lights and decided to improvise by taking backlit photos instead of using a backdrop. I love the way it turned out! Sometimes improvising can work to our advantage because it challenges you to step out of your comfort zone and try different things! I challenge you guys to try a different (even off the wall) angle, or shoot that video you’ve been contemplating (even if you’re nervous), it’s all a journey and we’re all on it together! ❤️❤️ .
