Join us in welcoming Dr. Mrinalini Krishnan, an advanced heart failure cardiologist at MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Krishnan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography, and she sees patients at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. She also serves as the Cardiology Educational Chair for the MedStar Health Internal Medicine Baltimore Residency Program. Dr. Krishnan cares for patients diagnosed with advanced heart failure who require intravenous infusions and left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension. She values getting to know her patients and their families on a personal level. She also believes in taking the time to teach her patients about the nuances of heart failure so that they can better understand their medical condition and play an integral role in their care.
