Four extraordinary nurses were honored this week at the inaugural MedStar Health Nursing Impact Awards, which recognizes registered nurses who contribute to #nursing research, education, process improvement, and advocacy across the MedStar Health system. Nursing Educator Kristin Wright of MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital won for being a perpetual champion for all hospital quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives. Patient Care Coordinator Sharon Griffin of MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital won for her improvements in the operating room.
